Results included a mix of published interviews and contributed articles with Grayah Group and the client working together to produce print-ready content. The campaign resulted in greater awareness among key vertical audiences as well as direct sales leads and speaking opportunities for those experts..
"Direct Mail Remains Impactful" and "Direct Mail Fallacies & Realities"
Media Outlet: Direct Marketing News
Media Type: Trade, print and online
Client Business: Direct mail marketing firm
Grayah Group’s Role: Media relations
Grayah Group was hired to write and distribute several EU Services' press releases, announcing news that ranged from new hire announcements to merger/acquisition/partnership news. Beyond issuing each release as a general business announcement, Grayah Group developed a thought leadership campaign, working with the client to tell a larger business growth story and present CEO Clif McDougall as an expert resource for leading industry publications. The campaign netted numerous industry trade and regional business stories. To the right are two examples of company mentions in the 2014 Direct Mail Marketing Essentials Guide and the October 2014 issue of Direct Marketing News. Both are results of the thought leadership campaign that elevated the awareness of the client and its CEO as industry influencers.
"40-Year-Old Printing Company is On a Roll"
Media Outlet: Philadelphia Business Journal
Media Type: Business, Print and online
Client Business: Commercial printing and direct marketing firm
Grayah Group's Role: Media relations
IBS Direct was looking to generate high-profile awareness within the Philadelphia business community about news of a successful acquisition. After writing and distributing the acquisition press release, Grayah Group contacted the Philadelphia Business Journal, pitching the editor a counter-trend growth story; a paper-based printer experiencing growth and success in the digital age. We worked with the writer to secure interviews and schedule the photo shoot. The result was a two-page article that focused solely on IBS Direct and its growth over the past year, including photos and several quotes. The article drove awareness of their business and success.
"Where Can I Get...?:
User-Installed, Flared Magazine Well Adaptors for AR-15-Style Rifles"
Media Outlet: American Rifleman
Media Type: Print and online
Client Business: Weapons manufacturer
Grayah Group's Role: Media relations
In building awareness for Lancer Systems and its line of AR-style weapons and components, Grayah Group utilized public relations efforts to gain positive press coverage for the client's latest product releases while simultaneously telling their story as an engineering firm constantly innovating to bring end users relevant solutions. The March 2015 issue of American Rifleman told this story and helped Lancer debut its newest product to 2.1+ million readers. Lancer received numerous customer phone calls and sales orders following the article's release. This article, and many others like it in print and online, have made more customers and prospects aware of the company and helped further position the brand as one synonymous with quality innovation.
Grayah Group helped elevate the image of a growing engineering and manufacturing firm. We took the management team through an extensive re-branding exercise and developed a new brand look - including an updated logo - that was more in line with the company's cutting edge, innovative engineering and manufacturing capabilities. Once the brand update was complete, we revamped all sales and marketing materials; website, product packaging, catalog, sales flyers, trade show materials, etc., ensuring a consistent look, feel and message throughout the entire firm.
Most currently, Grayah Group worked with Lancer to define the company's purpose and infuse that purpose into its marketing and sales strategy, and every aspect of the business - including its internal culture. Our PR efforts were a large part of this effort. We used public relations to tell Lancer's story not just as a manufacturer of advanced technologies, but as a firm that dares to see things differently. One that takes risks in the pursuit of innovation for each industry it serves.
Writing and Editing.
Grayah Group has written press releases and other announcements for businesses and non-profits looking to get their news in front of key audiences. We find the most effective press releases use a particular piece of news to tell a bigger story about a company and its purpose, its leaders and/or its impact on growth in a particular industry.
Grayah Group was hired by NextLogical Benefit Strategies, LLC to edit its January 2015 whitepaper, What Works in Healthcare Cost Containment. The 30-page paper was written by multiple authors. Grayah Group edited the paper for consistency of voice and grammatical accuracy, and organized and edited the reference list. The result was a professional paper with the consistency of one company voice while still utilizing the firm's multiple subject matter experts.
Articles and Website Content.
